The Valencian Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology (SOTOCAV) has rewarded Traumatología Vistahermosa’s research work.

On May 16 and 17 2013, during the 41st Congress of the Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology of the Autonomous Region of Valencia (SOTOCAV), Traumatología Vistahermosa received the awards for best oral presentation and best scientific poster delivered this year.

Dr. Jesus Más, with Dr. Manuel Morales and Dr. David Bustamante, presented at the meeting the results obtained by the Hip Unit at Traumatología Vistahermosa in Femoro-acetabular hip impingement arthroscopic Treatment work which won the award for best scientific presentation at the Congress.

Moreover, Dr. Carmen Verdú, with Dr. Román Cebrian and Dr. David Bustamante, presented a scientific poster detailing the technical aspects of the treatment of sequels of forearm fractures suffering malunions. This work won recognition as the best scientific poster in the Congress.

The SOTOCAV Congress gathers annually the leading specialists in Orthopaedic Surgery of the Valencian Region to discuss the latest scientific breakthroughs in musculoskeletal surgery as well as the results obtained and their impact on the quality of life
of our patients.
