Dr. Jon Plazaola Gutierrez performs his studies in Medicine and Surgery at the University of the Basque Country (Bizkaia) during the years 1995 to 2001. He did his specialization in the Hospital General of Elda, and obtained the title of Specialist in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology in 2007.

Since then and up to now he developed his professional career in Hospital General of Elda.

In 2011 he joined Traumavist as a member of the pediatric orthopaedic Unit.

He is a member of the Spanish Orthopaedic Society (SECOT).

Author of national and international publications, lectures, and communications in Courses and Congresses of Orthopaedics and Traumatology. At present, it continues its scientific and training activities by participating in courses and congresses related fundamentally to the biomechanics and pathology of the orthopaedic pediatric patology.
