This technique is performed through minimal incisions with the aid of a camera and specific instruments, which allows seeing inside the joints, diagnosing problems and treating the patient with a minimal surgical aggression, so that he/she can recover very quickly.
The following ankle conditions can be treated, the majority of them sports injuries:
- Cartilage Injuries: osteochondritis, chondromalacia
- Mild-moderate osteoarthritis
- Intra-articular bodies
- Impingement of the ankle, both frontal and rear, which can be osseous (osteophytes) or caused by the accumulation and inflammation of soft tissue
