Dr. Enrique Martinez performs his studies in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Alicante during the years 1981 to 1987. He did his specialization in the Hospital General Universitario of Alicante, and obtained the title of Specialist in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology in 1994.

He developed his professional career in Hospital General Universitario of Alicante until 2014.

In 1996 he joined Traumavist as Chief of the Foot and Ankle Unit.

He is a member of the Spanish Orthopaedic Society (SECOT), the Valencian Orthopaedic Society (SOTOCAV), the Spanish Society of Sports Orthopedics and Traumatology (SETRADE), the Spanish Foot and Ankle Society (SEMCPT), and the European Foot and Ankle Society (EFAS).

He has been a member of the Board of the Spanish Foot and Ankle Society from 2012 to 2016.

Author of national and international publications, lectures, and communications in Courses and Congresses of Orthopaedic and Traumatology. At present, it continues its scientific and training activities by participating in courses and congresses related fundamentally to the biomechanics and pathology of the foot and ankle.
